"See You When I Get There" is performed by Michael Robinson. Michael moved from L.A to Paris, France in 1984. Michael had been a singer in Quincy Jone’s stable of vocalists in Las Angeles and decided to strike out on his own. Michael met Dwight Thompson in Paris in 1987 and signed a recording contract with Dwight’s label Destiny Records. Michaels first single on Destiny was Dwight’s Euro-Soul production of Lou Rawl’s "See You When I Get There".
