I’m just sayin’ Does Jesus have a health plan? If so, I’d like to subscribe— But would it qualify? He wouldn’t need doctors Or hospitals…or rehab centers He wouldn’t even need time Because He often heals His patients instantly Does Obama care As much as Jesus cares? I’m just sayin’ The health care system is burdened with the ill. The sick and the frightened Line the hospital corridors Whimpering, moaning, crying out for help But, often, there is no help From Man Let’s try to help man’s system It is burdened oh so much Please give us, Jesus, give us all Your awesome healing touch! Help us know Your power Supersedes the surgeon’s knife And that God Who created us Can restore us to His life When times are bad and systems fail To reach all Man’s ideals It’s good to know that God IS there Through Jesus Christ to heal I’m just sayin’
