(my name is Lori Howard and I am secretly signing up my son-just found out about contest) I wrote this song the week Blane turned 21. He tried to "do the right thing" through high school and not drink. He lost a few friends. He decided to wait till he was 21. I called him on his 21st b/day at college and he was out with friends having punch with two kinds of rum. Out came the song, most of it that night.
