Description
When I wrote this I was remembering a crush I had when I was in middle school. She was great, as all crushes are or at least seem to be, but being little I didn'thave the guts to ask her if she could be my girlfriend. Untill one day after we got done playing at her house I finally sukced it up and asked her. She said no. Then we moved out of theat neighborhood and we don't see eachother at all.
Lyrics
Waitin' to see who you are I can see your smile from afar One day you called from across I wen tto you without much fuss Oh why, why, carry wine? It's a fine day to be sublime While I, I cry Why don't you hold my hand up high? While I, I cry Why don't you hold my hand up high? Countin' the days away Can't you see that I'm afraid I't been years since that day we met Oh I wonder if you forget Then one day Its hard to say But that day You walked away While I, I cry Why don't you hold my hand up high While I, I cry Why don't you hold my hand up high
