I think the disonant chord works if it's more 'indie' less 'country'. But I hear where you're going with that odd chord. Otherwise it's a good song.

i think the main thing is getting your story out this obviously isnt the main final copy , you have a very angelic voice it keeps you attention for sure . its very well written thats what i think we are judgeing

I hear quite a bit of potential here, but am bothered by the dissonant guitar chord (5+); but I love the creative instrumentation, including the dobro, electric piano and acoustic bass. The song finally gets going around the 2:30 mark with the butt-tap drum track; if I were producing this would be present closer to the beginning, and a chorus would drive the song over the top (snare backbeat). Cool storytelling lyrics, too -- I like it a lot!
