Red Scare, Red Nightmare

I tried to write this one about something very weird and specific, like the Talking Heads' "Life During Wartime." It's kind of dark and spooky in a fun way, like going trick-or-treating when you're a little kid. The song was written basically because Brian had just gotten a new Digitech pedal at the time and was desperate to find something he could use it in.
