The Formula

The music in this song was originally written on mandolin and was soon after adapted to guitar with vocals. With so many chords and changes yet still sounds within a pop sense of simplicity, the chords when placed on the bands dry erase board, (as we use for new songs or setlists) resembled a scientific math equation or "formula" so to speak. The lyrics reflect on politics, apathy and the general feeling of lost lives from close friends to world leaders.
