This song features Mercury Landing's abilities in an odd-meter time signature (11/8). Their drummer, Nate Rosler, received a hand-written letter from Trey Anastasio (Phish), who wrote "...Your drumming is solid and relaxed, you seem to be embracing those odd time signatures in a very smooth way. I particularly liked 'mediawashed' ... "
