Ferocious Thelonious Funk

I wrote this song when the band gave me a tape of a jam they had done and asked me to write lyrics for it. I remember listening to it thinking "this song would be awesome to play live, but I don't know if I can write anything that moves as fast as the song." I couldn't think of what to write, so I just started thinking of the most nonsense I could, eventually arriving at "what if my friend was a jungle gorilla?" Hence the opening verse of this song and the direction it took.
