Description
This song was written about my girl-friend who found it hard to stay in a relationship with me for more than a few months at a time. We were on again-off again so much that it became a common story line for my life. I finally married this woman and succeeded in taming her... but that's another song.
Lyrics
Only the wind, seems to know my name I've cried every night, since you've been gone. I try to pretend, I hear you call my name But it's only the wind, baby, since you've been gone I have no pictures on my wall of empty frames. But no matter where I look, I see your smiling face again I called you today, to see if you were home, The voice on the other end tells me your gone I feel every beat of a broken down heart Do you still think of me, since you've been gone I have no pictures, on my wall of empty frames But no matter where I look I see your smiling face again Since you've been gone I cry Since you've been gone I try Since you've been gone baby I've died just a little bit everyday Since you've been gone I know That you were wrong to go Don't wanna wake up anymore Baby since you've been gone Lead Break I have no pictures, on my wall of empty frames But no matter where I look I see your smiling face again Since you've been gone I cry Since you've been gone I try Since you've been gone baby I've died just a little bit everyday Since you've been gone I know That you were wrong to go Don't wanna wake up anymore Baby since you've been gone Who yea Since you've been gone
