My Father

A song written for my father. A person who I came to admire more in my adult life. Some of my fonder memories involved him. As I grew as a person I realized the parallels between him and I and that we were alike in so many ways without it being a situation of influence (my parents were divorced). I discovered, over time, that the same characteristics that made me succeed were the very same traits my father had. "I know the best of you I am". I am truly my father's son.
