Dollar Store is the outlet that allows Dean, Joe and Alan from the Waco Brothers, with their friend Tex from the Roughnecks, to let off some hard rock steam. Still roots informed but with a little more wattage, the band plays frequently in their home base, the Chicago area, but have also wandered to the west coast and played to embarrassingly enthusiastic crowds at the CMJ convention in New York and SXSW in Chicago. a
