'Til Winter

I wrote this at the end of summer, afraid of the cold coming, afraid of the frozen places within me, afraid to find that like Winter my heart may be frozen and barren. But as the Spirit of Winter has told me I will melt those frozen places. If you've ever lived in the Northeast you may have noticed that the Beech trees hold onto their dried leaves well into the snowy months and this was the inspiration for the beginning of the song....Blessings JessieMayer.com
