I wrote this song, Lady Lucker, based on a cross-country road trip I took in the wake of quitting a job back in the fall of 2010. No job and too disgusted to look, I loved the feeling of the open road and the idea of becoming a truck driver was becoming a possibility. So I started reading up on it and discovered that the big money is in two-person teams that deliver special cargo loads.
