Leaving Tonight was written by AoS vocalist, Brad, while serving in Baghdad, Iraq 4 years ago and brought to life by lifetime friend and lead guitarist, Jay. Act of Summer formed in 2008 and found female vocalist/guitar player, Mandi, and began playing Houston venues while writing their first EP "Other Than Yourself".
