Description
Nero" is the second single release by Glenn Wilson (April 11, 2011). In an interview, Glenn Wilson stated, "Nero is really a song about tyranny and injustice. I could have called it 'Napoleon', 'Hitler', 'Stalin'...or even 'antichrist' for that matter. Anyway, I kept returning to the title 'Nero' so I stuck with that."
Lyrics
Nero Words and Music by Glenn Wilson © 2011 GlennWilsonMusic You take what you want, but it’s never enough You take what you need, let the others bleed Chorus But it’s all the same, it’s all the same When you don’t know their names It’s all the same, it’s all the same Same to you now They get on their knees, and beg you please You laugh and you smile, and say “add them to the pile” Chorus Your riches are fair, but you’ve got no love to spare You hate because you feel, and try to become so unreal Repeat Chorus
