This song was written during my messy divorce. I loved my wife, and was against the divorce, but she needed her space as she put it, all the while she was having an affair with a friend. I sat down on the back porch of my daughter's home, and starting thinking about life if we could snap our fingers and make things right. I began thinking about Oz and put these words together, but all things happen for a reason and have a way of working out for the best. I am now remarried and happier than ever.
