the song came about when I was taking care of my dying spouse and by the "grace of God" people came to help me with my two daughters (6 yrs 19 yrs of age). these people were not just plain folks, they were "Angels Watchin Over Me" from God....hence Angels watchin over me. Song is dedicated to all who is or have taken care of a dying love one.
