I Tried

Every singer-songwriter needs to write at least one song about his family. "I Tried" is JOSHUA's version of this fact. The longest song on his debut album, "Mr. Nice Guy", it deals with issues such as lying to his mother and feeling a kinship with his father after getting his own divorce. "I Tried" has a groove to it that drives the listener forward, while taking them back to their own past.
