Bribes

The song Bribes, off of my album Things People Do, is a three minute long guilt trip. The song passes as a romantic plea, but it was written to help me understand the relationships I observe within my family. Guilt trips are well intentioned, but completely selfish. We place them on the people we love to get them to do the things we want. As humans, we love unconditionally, powerfully and sometimes selfishly and as a songwriter it interests me to write about and explore the things we do.
