I wrote this song for my 21 year old autistic sister Claire. She has a very hard time adapting to transitions and change in her everyday life. The song is meant to motivate her and give her confidence in her daily schedule. She loves music very much and she loves singing this because it makes her feel very proud and accomplished. Joy radiates from Claire 90% of the time. This song moves her through the 10% crankiness that usually occurs in the morning when she wakes up.

Claire likes to wake up in the morning, she gets dressed and then makes a list, she gets on the bus for Norma Jean she puts her seatbelt on and heads to transition. On the weekends Claire likes to sleep in, but then she gets dressed and goes to downtown Wheaton kids apple juice, non paraels, smarties, and red roses.
