Description
A sharp sense of sadness shoots through this song. The lyrics betray the singer's emotional fragility and tell of her surrender to the object of her love, they are a plea for attachment that is abject and self sacrificing. The listener is left wondering of the consequences if her entreaties are spurned. The interplay between the guitarist and singer evokes the sense of the tension a tightrope walker might feel towards the rope: the rope is taut and secure, the walker vulnerable and alone.
Lyrics
I feel wrong done Like all the others that I know before. I feel like I've thought it On an airwave into daylight. Call me whenever you want. I just don't even mind, call me. I don't know that I, Oh, I've been too far gone. Help me be right, Know I'll be hiding in your own light.
