This song "Red" was written in December of 2011. It uses color imagery to tell the story of how broken relationships cause us to reflect on ourselves at times and how that affects the relationships we have with the world around us. One of those relationships being that with Christ. In the end, He has marked us with red... the red of His blood. It is that which outlasts all other things on this earth.
