The Lizard (Postscript)

This is easily my favorite song that I've written, and the one that I'm least sure what it it's about. I deliberately filled the lyrics with thematically related images that hinted to a story line but never gave any substantial clues to what that might be. The music's tone to me gives the song a feeling of urgency even as it is sometimes painfully slow prior to the final up-tempo section.
