I wasn't to keen on the vocal style though. It seemed to me that instead of really digging in, he was more so reciting the motions. A backup vocal around 1:50 was more what I was looking for, but it was just a quick dub in
It seems to me you're shooting for that epic 80 metal band sound, which you've done beautifully, but I feel like if you introduced a level of compassion to your vocal work, maybe some anger, lust, regret, anything that captures what you're singing about better, you'll have graduated this great work to the next level
Try varying the singing style, throw in some instrumental breakdowns that are more flowing than driving so your audience has a chance to breathe, and this track will do much better than it already is,
