I wrote and recorded this song one late night when I was 17. Most listeners seem to pick up on its message right away, and for that reason I don't think it needs further explanation. Although, my purpose in writing it was not to detach myself and gawk at the excessive arrogant lifestyles of americans, but to gawk at the excessive lifestyle that I sometimes participate in.
