Afraid Too Long is the straight-forward expression of what it's like to put yourself on the line as an artist. It is realizing the fear that accompanies plunging yourself headfirst into the very thing you feel you were born to do. This is contrasted with the idea that procrastination will never lead you to accomplishment; that living in fear is the ultimate defeat.
