So they say our body is a vehicle for our souls to have a place to call their own. I’ve been told I’m driving way too fast these days, but I let it happen. Now I see the miles showing on my face. Now I laugh at all the things I used to say. “Never aging” was a state of mind, you gotta let it happen. This is where we are, but this aint who we are. A decomposing me is only a body. I heard a lot of stories that don’t end so well. I spent a lot of time wondering if this is hell. Now I know that hell’s a state of mind, and I won’t let it happen.
