Description
This song was written as a response to a story given by an old pastor that live many years ago. He told of a boy who had contracted a disease similar to cancer. His parents, distraught by this experience, went into his room one night and found their little boy sitting up in his bed looking out his bedroom window and counting the stars in the sky. They asked him what he was doing, and he said "Mom, Dad, I'm counting the stars. Each one up there stands for a blessing that God has given me."
