Vertigo

‘Vertigo’ was sort of where the album started. I realized that the situation that I’d been in (I briefly dated someone who neglected to tell me that they were married) had kind of left a trail and I hadn’t really resolved it; I was still really angry about it and once I got that song out all kinds of new songs came to me.
