Description
This is a pretty new tune which I plan on putting on my next CD, The Kansas city kid. I worked the arrangemnt up with my piano player at the time, Bob Bailey, an old jazz great who had a long carreer in Hollywood and worked on Dean Martin's NBC TV show as a music director during it's entire run. I think it's a nice little blues tune and Bob's influence was great.

Baby, I Just Don’t Know By Randy Mundy © 2010 Well, you ask me how I’m doin’ You ask me where I’m goin’ You ask me what I’m thinkin’ As if it’s really worth you knowin’? You must be really bored, You must have no place to go The answer to question Baby is: Baby, I just don’t know ______________ My life’s an open book What you see is what you get If you can’t read it on my face It’s cause I ain’t thought it yet You ask me all these questions. It’s like your news day must be slow The answer to question Baby is: Baby, I just don’t know _____________ Now my answer is so simple My answer is so concise My answer’s so strait forward I shouldn’t have to answer twice I hope you get the picture now, I hope you understand I’m not tryin’ to be obtuse I’m not a complicated man I just don’t know… Baby, baby I just don’t know ____________ So there’s nothin’ I’m doin’ There’s nowhere I’m goin’ There’s nothin’ that I’m thinkin’ That’s really worth you knowin’ And if you have to ask me why I’ll try to answer slow, The answer to question Baby is: Baby, I just don’t know
