This track is integral to our live show, a song about a mother with such a vendetta against her child that she kills it (either literally or metaphorically, the listener can choose). It's meant to display this person's evil and brutal mindset. Even while doing all of this, the mother still acts normally as if she were innocent. The key line refers to her put-on of mourning for her loss, that of "scattering fires in sackcloth and ashes."
