Description
I'm Retired from the US Army after 20 years, and I have heard lots of songs about soldiers and wars but I never heard any about our women soldiers so, I wrote this song for the Female Soldiers that were leaving their families and going to the war zones.
Lyrics
Dear Hurry Back Home By: Bill Snow Nov 21, 2009 CHORUS Dear it's been lonely, here without you. Since you've gone to Iraq, I don't know what to do It hasn't been easy here with you gone I wish the war was over so you can hurry back home. I know the Army needs you and the kids are being strong They know Mom is a soldier and someday you'll be home, The kids did good in school today and the family is helping while you are away. Your mother sent a letter yesterday and I put it to your package I'm mailing out today. Your Dad sends his love and say's he's very proud of you He knows your a soldier and you have a job to do CHORUS Dear it's been lonely, here without you. Since you've gone to Iraq, I don't know what to do It hasn't been easy, here with you gone I wish the war was over so you can hurry back home. TAG I wish the war was over so you can hurry back home.
