I Gave

Twas the day before Christmas when this warm-hearted innocent Senator became unhinged. In an instant, I was transformed into a selfish mean-spirited Scrooge. It was a Christmas season just like any other in North Carolina. Swarms of Boy Scouts descending upon defenseless neighborhoods in their own version of the "big surge". Year after year after year I was caught at the door. Face to face with a face full of braces and an arm full of sand. Sand bags that is.... They call them luminarias.
