Lyrics
We find ourselves in recollection, singing songs that make connections, hoping that we'll never be alone. While bridges between us are burning all the while the world is turning. Never learning; yearning for a home. And the night is always darkest just before the dawn. And the right will always turn out wrong if it is not agreed upon. And our sight will always be impaired 'til we open our eyes. And our eyes will never open until we recognize they're closed... A chain is only as strong as its weakest link, and even if all of the links are strong, a kink can destroy it. Because we're all just goldfish in a bowl, swimming in circles until we are grey and old, remembering nothing. We're all just birds fighting over the same worm. You think we'd figure out that someone would get burned with all of the quarreling. So all the strong: take from the weak if you think it just. You're on your way now, and you leave them in the dust. But where is our unity? United we will stand, but detached we fall. No supply demands help from us all. Like broken mirrors distorting our reflection. Where are we headed with no direction?
