Heaven's Shores

This is a song I wrote a few years back after the death of my grandmother, Margaret, whom I never met. My mother was in Kansas for Margaret's funeral, and called to tell me the story of her grandmother's death. As it is told, Margaret was by her mother's side in the hospital when her mother said, "I have to go now; my angel is here." Those words really stuck with me and thus came Heaven's Shores.
