Description

"Still" was written about my Grandfather, I think we have all had someone in our life who has truly been the inspiring person, the rock, the compass that has made all the difference in who we have become. This was recorded very raw purely to capture the emotion I felt after just writing the song.

Lyrics

Still White bird flies, into the pale gray sky, Leading my tired mind to sometime ago My Grandad, showing me how to land, Reaching out weathered hands, if I should fall And I still can see. Your face is so clear to me Some things just pass on by, you never will, I remember you still Stand your ground, you taught me to not look down, stare a man in the eye and speak your mind As you spoke, words form your rusty throat, the sound of your voice so broke and now it’s mine So I hope you see, how much of you is me If the whole world goes quiet… maybe you hear me And when it’s my time to go, I’ll meet you on that old road Guide me just one more time, into the light And I’ll rest by your side We’ll be still…...
