Go-Go

This is as close to a tribute song as I've ever recorded. This is my simultaneous love song to Janis Joplin and the counter-culure music of the late sixties, as well as (indirectly) a tribute to the catchy, pop-grunge of my high school years. Recorded at Gremelen Studios in Aurora, Illinois we captured this track in one take (not counting the overdubs). Go-Go features the original ElixXxEr lineup of Gene Vanko on bass and Tony Crowell on Drums.
