we actually wrote the lyrics first intentionally to see if we could write a good tune in reverse. normally i have a few riffs to build from but tod (guitar) never let me in on this one. before i could get all plugged in the rest of the band was wailing so i just grabbed a mic and gave it a raw effort. i did play lead guitar on this even though tod is a far better lead player than me. sometimes when we need a more raw sound i get to play a little lead. one of our more pop tunes and a crowd fav...
