With no front man, Less is a collaboration of five New York City artists where the music stands in the center. As gnome-like tinkers they crack open the circuitry of the emblematic android of modern culture and through sound and lyrics attempt to graft the tin man a heart. This endeavor has garnered a spectrum of comparisons from Captain Beefheart to Radiohead, from Sonic Youth to the Flaming Lips.
