I wanted to do a country song that no one has sung about yet and something everyone could relate to right now. Immediately I came up with the perfect idea that we should have it about the war, but it could relate to any war. Plus no one has wrote a song about the woman being at war instead of the man. The finished product turned out just the way I wanted.
