PlayLovely Girl

by Aaron Bettner

I am playing everything and they are all REAL instruments, not fake drums or midi. Thanks to Cam Collins (who has worked with many jazz greats such as "Blue" Lou Marini) for the sax solo at 3:20.

The song has a great backbone. I like the Stevie-ish breaks and the guitar tones are ALMOST there. Aside from strumming chords like an acoustic on an electric, throw more tasteful licks in.
The tune can use a better mix with some vocal production as well. nice backbone. Keep working on it!

I dunno, I rather enjoyed it the way it is - nice job!

I think I would record this song one more time, the lyrics are great, the music is kicking, and the breaks are cool, but it lacks just a little bit of performance energy (Not being critical, I think this is a number one) if it had a little more drive. It could be platinum.
