simple. and GOOD!!!
I think lyrically, there could be a GREAT story behind the theme "The Hard Way". The thing about traditional country, with limited instruments and production is that the story must be front and center.
I like the song, but would like to see more details in the lyrics centering around the theme. Kind of a "what, where, when, and why" you have to learn the hardway.
Overall, good tune!
