PlayGymKhana (The Race is On)

There are three words that I use to describe my experience recording this song for Alien Sun...Fun, fun, fun! Alien Sun is sort of a hybrid of East and West, and GymKhana is definitely West. It has a more metallic, progressive feel than most of the other songs on the CD and has a quick and lively pace to it. As it evolved in the studio it almost reminded me of two tricked out cars side by side tearing down the boulevard at 2:am when they shouldn't be.
