one night when i was trying to fall asleep i started praying, which i don't do very often, kind of a last resort because all else failed with this girl i loved, just asking god to make her dreams come true. i wasn't asking for him to make her mine but if it was meant to be then that would be great, but if not then give me the strength to get through it, these lyrics just started coming into my head so i grabbed my guitar. 20 minutes and a few tears later this song came out.
