We have watered His Word with the fashions of time, Let us turn in repentance and drink of His wine. When the Word and the World are locked in the fight, How are we to know what is wrong, what is right? When the Word and the World come to blows, hand to hand, On which side will you or will I take our stand? When the highway is full of laughter and joy, The world is in love with its latest new toy, When their prophets are telling them, “Judgement’s a lie,” If we sit in silence then we too shall die. Like a man with a prostitute, lust in his eye, Not seeing she leads him to where he will die. See her wicked acomplice, his hand on his knife, Is ready to rob this poor church of its life.
