The Song We Had

I was married for twelve years. This song is about our decision to end the marriage to save our friendship. Even now, eighteen months later, we are still close friends. This was recorded at Catamount Studio in Cedar Falls, IA. I recorded this entire album in four hours because that's all I could afford. Rhythm guitar, vocals and whistling in one take, then I did the lead guitar in another take.
