What's Going On

Michael Robinson moved from L.A to Paris, France in 1984. Michael had been a singer in Quincy Jone's stable of vocalists and decided to strike out on his own. Michael met Dwight Thompson in Paris in 1986. That meeting led to Dwight producing Michael's Euro-Soul version of Marvin Gaye's "What's Going On".
