From the 251 songs I have judged in electronica in july this song is in my top 10.
Love the dirty nightclub feel here... All i can picture is a bunch of vampires having an orgy of blood "Ala Blade." By 2:00 i was hoping you'd kick it up a notch though... Consider the music bed to Underworld's "Moaner." Take notes... Never mind that god awful lyrical content for B half. By 4:00 i thought you'd do it... But the you killed me when you finally dropped back into the beat and just gave me pokey trance. Close... You need a new synth that shreds though. The rest is pretty solid regardless of your long arrangement that could be shortened.
From the 120 songs of the specialty finals in january this song is in my top 10.
