Original song recorded in my home studio. "The News" is intended to be a humorous, yet truthful jab to the world of media in our country. I wrote the lyrics before coming up with the music on this one.

Its eleven oclock turn on the box, time to watch the news. Lying in bed I see a talkin' head but don't see it's point of view. But that's alright with a little insight, even though its in disguise, I sift through the trash and maybe at last the truth beneath the lies. A high speed chase or a murder case; either way it’s time well spent. A big drug bust or crimes of lust, complete with video and graphic content. Chorus Getting all this news, it’s plain to see; No news is good news, that’s the best news for me. When the work days’ done I just wanna have fun, but first read the local pages. A judicial injunction finds government corruption as they vote to increase their own wages. Page two there’s a con, who used to be a cop; gettin’ kinda dizzy getting spun like a top. Getting’ all this news and it’s plain to see. No news is good news; that’s the best news to me.
